Florida is home to a wide range of karst resources, from dry caves throughout the state (even as far south as Miami!) to underwater caves with depths below 300 feet! In the late 90s I took over as the data manager for the now defunct Florida Cave Survey and attempted to correlate 50 years of lost data into one document which I made available to every member. This ran counter to the cave-hiding mindset of cavers in Florida, and as such, the organization once again fell apart. Below are some of my exploration and mapping projects in Florida.
