Ironhorse is one of the hundreds of paleo karst caves located on the Newberry Karst Plain. Caves located here are typically 100-500 feet long, with very large tunnel, no side passages, and crystal clear water. They are typically entered through a smallish ceiling collapse, with no other surface indications. This particular cave was 437 feet long, though no map was ever created.
